About Me

In 2020, I decided to resign from my 19 year career at a large food manufacturing facility for an improved family and life balance.  I enjoyed all the various experiences and many people I worked with during my tenure there.  I managed to have a wide range of roles over those years!  The last ten years of experience were in financial roles starting out as an Inventory Analyst and progressing to Cost Accountant Senior.  Prior to the financial roles, I held a warehouse supervisor position for two years as well as various positions in warehousing and manufacturing production.  I love learning new things and had opportunities to do just that over the years.  I decided to take my eclectic experience and skillset, obtain additional education, and start a business to provide remote bookkeeping and advisory services.  In March 2021, BearAble Bookkeeping Services LLC was born!

While I build BearAble Bookkeeping Services, I am serving in a part time role as Administrative Manager for a non-profit startup that provides relationship education to Pennsylvania’s youth.  As an active member of my local church, I serve as the website administrator and maintain media channels.  I also hold a health coaching certificate from Integrative Nutrition.  I have an interest in health and wellness due to discovering an auto-immune condition and finding natural ways to keep it in check.  I enjoy the outdoors and homesteading with a concentration in chickens!  I love working with numbers and that includes chicken math!  Yes, I am the nerd with Excel spreadsheets for gardens and chicken livestock!
